Know what you want and never give in to the negativity around. We all had that day when we knew what we want, but there were many distractions and hardships along the way. If someone says “it’s impossible,” or “you can’t do it,” chances are they are never going to do it because they are afraid. Remember that the courage to do the impossible makes success possible, so don’t let negativity take over your life. Think confident and stay positive.
They make their truth the truth.
Who decides what is? Whose truth is the truth? Successful minds don’t let the world dictate what should and could be. They make their fact the reality. Most people underestimate the power of the brain. They do not use its potential for greatness and just choose to be what society tells them to be.
Consider spending less time playing, and more reading, less talking and do more listening, less criticizing and spend more time appreciating. Appreciate all the things you have and acknowledge that everything can be used to your advantage. Use the power of the mind to create greatness. After all, high things all started with a dream inside one’s mind. As Alicia H. Clark, Psy.D. said, “The best progress happens when you apply what you’ve learned outside that setting, in your real life.”
They focus on the goal.
Think about what you want to be, who you want to be, and where you want to be. Visualize your dream and make it your goal. Our life is full of choices, and you must learn that every decision we make could make us closer or farther to our goals.
Make it a habit of determining and making the right choices. Yes, mistakes are also useful as they make us learn, but make sure that you discover from every error and that every mistake should teach you to do right next time. Identify distractions, and limit yourself to what you think is useless, like drinking and partying. There’s nothing wrong with having a good time, just don’t do it all the time.
They are not afraid of change.
“The only permanent thing in this world is change,” as Totò once said. Take a look around you and ask yourself, “Is this the life I want,” “Is this the best that I can be.” If the answer is no, then it’s time to think and do things differently. People are so comfortable with their norms or are too scared to try something new, leaving them stuck in a situation they are not happy in.
“Happy people make healthier choices,” explains Scott Glassman, PsyD. Decide today and start living life differently. For once, break your routine and leap of faith. Get a new haircut, speak up your ideas, or do something you’ve never done before. Doing the same thing again and again won’t bring you different results, so stop being afraid and learn to embrace change.

Your body and mind do what they’re told. If you say yourself “this will be a great day!” Surely, it will. Your body feels the enthusiasm of the mind and will follow that energy. You will notice how energetic you become when you’re excited about something, like a promotion. You are very happy to go to the office, and your body is just full of energy.
